hi...tried to order a couple of books from amazon but a messaged appeared saying they do not ship to singapore.

Did you happen to choose to buy a 'used' copy from people who's selling through Amazon? From what I know, if you buy a new copy from Amazon, they would ship it here. But as for buying from a 3rd party, it depends if the seller wants to ship it here or not...

try vpostusa.com.sg ... they will post to an address in US ... then vpost will ship your stuff here for a lower fee
