I'm trying to set the Image's colours to 'Vivid' but I can't seem to find this setting inside the camera.

Image Optimization Options: The D60's Optimize Image setting lets photographers adjust color, contrast and sharpening, as well as other image settings, according to the type of scene or output desired. Settings include: Normal, Softer, Vivid, More Vivid, Portrait, Custom and Black and White, each of which are automatically adjusted based on sophisticated Nikon algorithms or user-selected settings for optimum results.

Can anyone advise me on the above? Or is it not available on entry-level DSLR?

Cheers.

ps. I've found the option under Shooting Menu -> Optimize Image -> Vivid

Cheers.

press the button in the back left corner of the camera (which looks like a magnifying glass with a + in it) and using the directional keypad and the OK button, you can select and then tweak the rest of the image settings.
