Nikon Df - the new King of High ISO performance ?

Where were the photos taken? What a beautiful Spring day you have !

Thanks Jeff I am Jeff as well btw. :)

The snaps are made in midtown 15th 21st and Harvard. Tulsa. Oklahoma.

The two story white house with the old cars out front is considered a significant art deco structure. The old place is currently pretty run down. It was built in 1933 and is what you would call streamline art deco. It is a place I would love to own.

The red and brown brick? house is in a neighborhood built by German immigrant stone masons. As a result they are still very solid to this day and command pretty big bucks.

Thanks for your interest bro.

Got my all black DF some time in 2015 and there's absolutely no regrets getting such a stellar piece of gear.
Love the picture quality on this machine.

Me too, but on a lesser frequency as I tend to use it more for streets and astro but landscapes are still very much what I shoot most so the D800 is the main cam.

wahahahaa

almost same as my set up, except that I use D800e.

have a nice week ahead!

So both of you skipped the D810 like I did lol.

Even D700 out lowlights 800 series I think.

Do you know why we are so proud with our Nikon Df ?
One of the reason is because the sensor is made by Nikon ! :vhappy:

Nikon made their own sensor for few selected models only:
D3100: 14 MP CMOS Nikon
D3200: 24 MP CMOS Nikon
D700: 12 MP CMOS Nikon
Df: 16 MP CMOS Nikon
D2h: 4 MP LBCAST Nikon
D3: 12 MP CMOS Nikon
D3s: 12 MP CMOS Nikon
D4: 16 MP CMOS Nikon
D4s: 16 MP CMOS Nikon

I'm proud cos the image quality is really good. Even better than my D800 but that's just my opinion. :)

Which lens did you use for the first photo? Thanks.

A couple run of the mill flower shots with the macro function on the 35-70/2.8 I told myself a couple years ago I was going to stop shooting flowers...but then I got a Df...so I am really not shooting flowers...I am exploring my lenses. Now that I have the disclaimer out of the way...
