Thanks, anyway for the comment.

Hi DFive,
I think my DF attracts more attention with this strap but i think it looks more retro with this.:)

Reviving this old thread so I can put my autofocus stuff up.

Check this happy accident out. Was messing around with in camera hdr today and while taking a rest on my walk my sidekick came over and posed for me. I was shooting 70mm and 125 shutter in camera hdr handheld which is just asking for camera shake. But the eyes stayed in one place! I like dogs...maybe cause I was born in year of the dog.

Here is a 35mm side shot of a no subject landscape type. I like the smoothness of the in camera hdr. Just paid a c note to have my camera detailed and I already have a damn spot on the sensor.

I think I need to put the 3D glasses to see the dog picture haha.

This is from my Digital 1 Photography class tonight. Fellow student. 35-70/2.8 This lens has a little magic in it that does all sorts of things very well.

I heard that 35-70 f/2.8 has the same optical performance with 24-70 f/2.8, with less weight and cost. Only the 35-70 barrel will be extended while you zoom-in, which should not be a big issue. It would be a good pair for your Nikon Df

The thing that I (and a few others) have discovered about the Df is that the D series lenses on a Df tend to impart a good deal more character and pop to images than the newer lenses which tend towards clinical almost lifeless looks. As far as the 35-70 it is indeed a very nice unit for the Df...I use it when I need to be fast otherwise any of my manual focus primes at those focal lengths I find to be superior. Soon I will have a roll of Porta 160 to compare film camera VS Df which should be interesting.

Thanks bro for supporting this thread.

This was shot with a old AFD 50mm f1.8.
My personal feel that is camera coupled with the AFD lens works fine for me.;)

Some from the middle dragon made today at lunch just to get some shooting in.

A good thing about the Df is the way it handles poor difficult challenging lighting situations...usually very good. Harsh high noon sun.
