Nice... the 28mm f1.8 is already now almost 90% on my cam!!

nice photos... for someone like me who already have a 35mm 1.8, is it a great improvement to get a 28mm 1.8?

This one has very strong CA.... look at the right edge of the white box.

The lens do not give you improvement... In the end, it really depends on you and what focal length you really need.

Oops just minor lah, still can accepted.

Most of bigger aperture should have one.

Did you tried the 35mm f1.4G N? More worst, just simple shoot at the lighting and compare to 28mm 1.8G had much better result than 35mm f1.4G.

Hi rain5533

Do you have any environmental portrait to share, thanks!

It up to you whether you need the 28mm or not. IMHO.. 28mm f1.8 make more sense in FX than DX.. if on DX.. I will use 35mm f.18 as the focal length is not much different in crop.. and much cheaper.

Hi, now you got chance to paying with AFS 28mm f1.8G of variable zoom shooting style :)

For example here.

Sure lah cause your is 24 f1.4 an stop down to 1.8 definitely lesses CA.
Also the price for 24mm f1.4G how much you paid for?

May I check nikon got 24 f1.8?

Mine is a Sigma. And it performs very well with a lot less CA than what I am seeing in all the pictures from the nikon 28.1.8. And it is cheaper than the Nikon 28/1.8. And looks just as sharp too.
