Sigrd,

That was a nice one. So, you joined them at the outing? No wonder u asked me whether I am shooting or not. Did you all met jnet6?

He's using Z2 too.

So sad didn't joined you guys at the outing coz I was late and got a lousy spot in front of esplanade and really lousy shots.

Hope there will be some outing on the 15 too. :) Willy, nice shot too.

Sorry forgot to ask.

Did you all use shutter speed 4 secs?
Apperture?

:dunno:

Yah, but what apperture to set for fireworks?

Depending on the ISO settings you are using actually.

ISO SETTING APERTURE RANGE
ISO 50 ƒ/5.6 to 11
ISO 100 ƒ/8 to 16
ISO 200 ƒ/11 to 22

Shutter really gotta estimate... anything from 2-8 seconds.

Hi... Sigrd..

Try cropping the picture... there is too much empty space to the left & right of the burst...

I miss the nite shooting on 1st Aug.
Will be there this Fri, to learn from you all how to take nite shots.

Unfortunately the fireworks was quite smoky... was expecting higher quality fireworks from these teams. This was one of the first few shots that wasn't smoky yet.

Hi WillyFoo,

Where was the fireworks shooting from and where did you go for your shots? I think you went to the correct place and have a nice shots. Actually, I've no idea where to go on that day so I just simply find a place in front of esplanade and finally wasted my time to got the lousy shots.
