Just my limited 2 cents..

For Turkish food, you may want to go to Sofra's @ Beach Towers. They serve quite nice Turkish food at cheap prices (but may be a little too cheap for V. Day... heh.)

Ambience is quite good as well.

Beach Tower? The one with a cinema ah near bugis?

Paulaner Bräuhaus @ Millenia Walk.
It has got 3 levels. 2 and 3 are nice and cosy.
1 has got a live band playing.
So you can dine at 2 and then adjourn to 1 for music and booze.

Grill on Devonshire. It's next to the BP Station along Killiney Road.

Excellent food. Reasonably priced too. And they got a special V.Day's menu. Reservations are a must.
