Need advise on upgrade of camera

Hi all

I am thinking of upgrading my Pansonic FZ5 to another camera.
My choices are Canon SX1IS and Panasonic FZ28, i still cant decide between this two.

can any1 recommend pls.

Well but are you prepared for some of the associated 'problems' with higher-megapixel compacts? Mainly to do with more noise in the pics.
Do you really need more than 5 megapixels? My guesstimate is that 5MP is enough for an 8R print, maybe even larger.
20x zoom... well, I found even 10X zoom pretty unuseable for me unless with tripod.
