Koh Samui

Hi all. I'm planning for a 1st time trip to Koh Samui.

Can anyone recommend me a nice hotel near the beach? Would October be a good time to go there? Objective to go there is for relaxing & snorkeling.

Seaside hotel - too many to name. Just surf.

This one on a hill side.
Beverly Hills Resort Koh Samui
Main road between Chaweng and Lamai beaches 210 moo 4, T. maret , Koh Samui, Suritthani.
Top class hill side sea view from the hotel. Incredible. Their sea turquoise green aquamarine clear waters.

Quite unlike our muddy brown water near Sentosa.
I always pity the tourists who stay at Sentosa and have to look at ugly container cranes.

I do have to agree with you about the muddy waters near sentosa and those resorts facing the container cranes.
