this lens I think is to be used in Mode K10 d. I don't think there is electrical contact on the lens with K10D. Hence aperture priority or shutter priority cannot be used. The lens is made by Kiron. I think I email him with regards to A lens of pentax. Anyway, it makes no difference to you, if you are a manual man, your skill............

Another one vivitar 105 f2.5 or 2.8 is up for sale by Jim Trader and I paid also 315 us including shipping, this morning. Old inventory but new lens. I think new stock is coming in

The one in peoples park centre corner one Level 1, call MAGNIFICIENT PHOTO, it is vivitfar 105 2.5 macro. I tested it one month back and asking very firm net $450/- Those days retailing 545 dollars according to him. I think that is the same one as Jim Trader selling cos the picturte is the same. The lens is heavy and macro extends out quite a bit but photo sharp. If you ask him his latest offer, probable he tells you recently someone offered 400 and thats-----ha ha. By the way, got to turn many rounds manually for macro shots and no auto. Hey, tell Jim trader to ship together and safe on shipping cost back. What say you, Longko.

Thanks for the info bro. BTW if you can't get the previous offer from traderjims, he posted another 5 Since it's also vivitar, I trust online seller than local shops (for vintage lens). If you say it's heavy then no more one hand wonder for me liao:bsmilie: Next on my vintage list will be the Vivitar S1 90mm f2.5... This will be hard:think: Why can't we have adapter that enable us to use om, md or fd mount. That'll make getting 90mm much easier

Cause it's another legendary that had survived time. Some said it's superior to Kiron 105mm But it'll be slightly cheaper. It is made by Tokina. I could be wrong, but most place I read on vintage lenses, most prefered Kiron 105mm & Tokina 90mm over Pentax M/A mount macro lenes. The A* 200mm would be pricy & harder to get, which I'd mentioned at the price, I'll rather go with Voigtlander
