I must be getting old or something...but i can't seem to find anywhere on the SG Apple site that states a 17th June release for Singapore market?

17th June is slated only for the 3.0 software upgrade...

the new iPhone 3G S is not just an upgrade of firmware. There is considerable upgrade on hardware as well, in terms of faster RAM, faster processor, better camera, compass etc etc.

upgrading firmware does not give you all that bro....
