hi to all senior bros.

i am currently using a canon 50mm f/1.8
but would like to venture out and try an inverter (maybe by renting to play around first)
but i do not know how an inverter works and all.
tried searching around the web for guides but could not really find any that really explains the use.

so could any seniors is kind enough to explain to me how an inverter works or could provide me with a link which i will be able to read up and learn more about inverters.

thanks in advance

I assume that you are talking about reverse macro? Here are some info about that:

Note that you can do a 1 lens and 2 lens setup. No one really rents out the mounting ring as its quite cheap at $20+. Here's a site where you can get the ring:

The reverse ring is < $20; you don't need to rent one.
