How to add on info to sticky thread?

How can I add on info to a existing sticky thread ?

Has been trying to add info directly many times but to no avail. My attemps always ended up with the original in quote and my info seprated from it.:dunno:

nothing particular to stickies - in any thread, click on "quote" on the post you wish to quote. but in the editing, just remove the "[quote~username]" and "[/quote]" from the beginning and end of the quote. then add your name to the bottom of the list.

however, be sure not to amend other ppls quotes by putting words into their mouths!!! :nono:
