cant really get a good bokeh.. how?

Stand further back, zoom in, shoot at widest aperture f/5.6. That's about the best you can hope for.
You can also "cheat" by using Photoshop, but usually these effects aren't very convincing.
Increase the distance between your subject and your background.
These are the usual methods
-- Have the subject near to the camera and background far far away from subject
-- Use lens with large aperture opening (for example, F1.1, F1.2, F1.4 or F1.8)
-- With limited effect, use lens blur filter in Photoshop
I know.. I tried using 5.6 when at 70mm and 3.5 when at 18mm.. but it cant give me a good bokeh...
Some people say get as close to subject.
Some say get as far to the subject..
i dont use photoshop.. dont edit my photos. just add frame and name thats it.
It can't give you good bokeh because that's the physical limitation of the lens. If you want good bokeh, you just have to bite the bullet and buy another lens with a wider max. aperture.
