Hi all. I would like to see your advice on the following:

I currently possess a Godox 50x70 softbox that came with a 300ws Godox strobe. I would like to use the softbox for an outdoor shoot. Which would mean that I will be using a speedlight instead of a strobe. Hence, I would like to get a flash bracket to mount on my light stand so that I can use this softbox with my flash unit as well.

How do I know what flash bracket I should get?
Or am I doomed as there is no suitable flash bracket mount and I will need to buy a new softbox and that manufacturer's own flash bracket. Just like jinbei has in it's catalogue.

I've been searching online for the answer but I haven't found any reliable source.

Hope you can shed some light in this matter. Thank you in advance.

Best regards Norman.

Post a pic of the mount on your current softbox?

Godox use bowen mounts. What you need is a speedlight to bowen mount adapter. You can get it shops like Orient, Manda or sgcamerastore.

Sure will do so when I get home.

My strobes are not on the Godox site anymore. But they are very similar to these. Mine are orange in colour.

I supposed something like this would solve your problem and can be found at most local shops,

Hi Levis. Thanks. That's similar to what I intend to get bin just wondering about the compatibility with various manufacturers' soft boxes as they all have different mounts. But thanks for the link!

Bowens mount! Thank you so much! Cos I thought I was told that it was called a "mini mount". And I couldn't find many references to it.

Thank you so much dd123. Now I know which flash brackets I can get that I can use my speedlight and existing softbox together.
