My kit lens is damaged

you went to repair shop and they confirmed?
If too expensive, can consider buying a replacement 18-___ lens.

cheapest is 18-55.
18-70 quite hard to come by.
can also consider 18-105VR

Yeah the guy told me the lens electrical component is heavily damaged. LOL Then got fungus inside DSLR. So I am thinking of clearing the fungus. I am thinking of getting 18-55mm and 55-200mm.

Sad news. If electrical problem, I guess it may not be worth it to repair.
18-55 and 55-200 are quite decent.
