Help pls - Downloading problem

Hi to all,

i'm a newbie & just bought a oly c2040z.

I know this is a simple question,.......but hv been trying to solve the problem for the last 2 hrs.
problem:as this is my 1st time downloading the images from DC to PC thru USB connection, i'm facing with the problem of " Cannot connect to the camera, pls try......"

wonder any expert can help pls........ tks in advance !!

Do not connect through camedia software.
Connect thru' My computer -> Removable drive

Called the hotline. Apparently, need to re-configure as the software cannot be supported by win98.

the olympus staff was friendly over the phone & my pixs turned out OK & everthing is fine now! cheerS!
