Would appreciate someone who can help us with this problem.

Recent my bro went for a trip and took some pictures. He tried to upload his pics using a card reader and apparently, it went bonkers. As a result, when he placed the card back to the camera, there were 4 duplicates of every invidual photos. The card itself was original had 600+ photos but after duplicating, he had 100+ photos but with 500+ duplicates.

The rest of the photos seems to be replaced by the duplicates. Is there anyone who had the same experience and can share no how to resolve this matter?

well no images lost right?
So just delete away the duplicates & format the card & hope nothing is wrong

But that means all other older images are gone?

oh sorry mis-read your problems.
Does the files size of the photos similar to that of the whole card data size used?

It seems that the card reader created 4 copies of 1 pic for the 1st 100+ pics and filled up the whole card. The rest of the images are gone.. *sigh*

:dunno:
