Focus beep keeps beeping when on half shutter button

If the beep keeps on going plus the focus ring keeps moving , that mean your dial is in sport..
And thats is very normal ~ 600d user here too

You guys are right. It didnt beep when im on AI Servo. The constant beeping only occurs when im on AI Focus mode.

Im on aperture priority mode, havent tried using sport mode.

then thats very strange.. In AI focus or one shot mode. It will beep only once when you half press the button to focus. Really never heard of constant beeping before..

I've never encountered this on my 60D, 5D2, 5D3 and 1D4 before. In fact, there isn't any beep at all in AI Servo mode.

do you have a separate lens (preferably different model) to try ? I wonder if this is a lens issue, or AF-mode issue...?

Not to be flippant but you could completely circumvent this issue by using AF-spot-select (manually select AF point) and putting your lens to manual focus. It would (should?) beep or AF point lights up when the selected AF point acquires focus when you focus manually.

(of course if it is a mechanical or defective part matter , you might wish to get it resolved )
