LOL! No lah.. not interest with his car no.. I mean may be is a brand new car, owner's heart *pain pain* to see his car caught in the rain :D
 

he asking for car number cuz if it is SFD, means just bought this month.... very new

From what I know, it may be due to the fact that rain water is acidic compared to the "normal" water or tap water you use to wash your car.

The acidic rain water is not good for the metal of the car body or the protective car polish that he may have just applied.

Though the pH value is only slightly below 7, unless the air is very polluted with industrial chemicals when it rained.
