Sorry for the double post. I went to Raffles Marina with the D800 yesterday. Here's an image from there:

Thank you. It's at Raffles Marina, which is at Tuas. You can take Bus 192 from Boon Lay to reach there.
It's a private club though and they are not very keen on photography, so going in as a group is not advisable. Go in alone, ask nicely, do not take any pictures of the club and they'll leave you alone. :)

VAF-D800 Moire / Aliasing Filter

Anytime you want and insert the AA filter only.
Cause of the filter can easily remove for sensor cleaning as well.

Hi D800 user, anyone use Phottix BG-D800 or Pixel Vertax D12 battery grip??
I found some forum the conclusion is Pixel better than Phottix, anyone got different comment?
Thanks for your advise. :D

Hi guys. I have a noob question.
Do you guys use CF card for raw and sd card for jpg?
Is 32gb CF card enough for raw and 32 gb sd card?
And the prices of the card any idea how much is it?

I don't think you can select for separate file format on different card.

I agree. I tried the same as well. To have the RAW in the CF and the Jpeg in the SD. But it did work that way. My CF will still have both files and my SD will have additional Jpeg.
May I dont know how to set.
Any advise?

Hmmm...I read it once.
Will read it again.
Maybe my setting not right.

If I not wrong is don't have the function for separate card in different files format.

Either you choose as backup copy for both card,
Or single file format, or Raw + Jpeg in different card.

This item is for videographers who do not want to have any moire in their videos as it is extremely noticeable and hard to remove. Absolutely nothing to do with photography.

Yup. That what Ive been experiencing.
They dont have the function. Sigh.
Thanks for clarification. How nice if they do as to save space when travelling and you dont have notebook to clear the CF.

Hi guys no problem with that. If you want Raw on CF and jpeg on SD. Go to SHOOTING MENU and select your Primary card as CF and SD as Secondary, then you move down to Secondary Slot Function and select Raw+jpeg. If you read it says RAW primary, JPEG secondary.. and you got it, Raw on CF and JPEG on SD. If you want it the other way then change the primary card to the one you want RAW on. but you must have cards in both slots. Cheers..
