requesting for info about current SGD fixed dollars interest rates for comparision. let me start. thanks.

UOB 3/6/9mths/1 yr @ 2.3%

kns... i put mine in NAB... 3 mth 4.5% only....

Sing $? or Aussie $? impossible to pay this rate for S$.

Go to Commonwealth Bank and ask lah. There are fixed deposit and cash management. See which one is higher then hantan all money into it. :)

Total Interest: 2.98% p.a.

IMO put it into Equity Funds if u have the stomach for risks. Abt 5 to 10% growth per annum.

Dun put all ur eggs into 1 basket. Diversify it for other returns.

hey sion,

but having said that, we've to be in ozzy or at least go there to "work/study/ blah blah blah" b4 we can open an account there rite?

i mean...we can't just fly there and open an account with say commonwealth or wad not and then come back to SG and just reap the interests rates?

Try National Australia Bank in Singapore as above post. Looks like the rates are higher than other local banks.

okay...will do... but i think the rates are definitely not as attractive as when one is over there.....

should have left some $$$ in FD there b4 i returned back here

i remembered they have Dec red hot FD rates...

it can shoot up to 11% !
