Hello HUG users, thank you for dropping by. See you again!

Hi,

Am interested in attending the next Profoto seminar and products. May I know when will be the next one? Thanks.

Rgds,

Jeffrey

thanks to Shiro and Prophoto and their speakers.
It was a great event and I learnt a lot of things.

Most of all, it was very well conducted and very professional.
Speakers REALLY shared good info.

I must say that anyone who is interested in lights SHOULD
have a go at the prophoto as well as turning up for one of these
events to see how much support you will be getting.

As it stands today, none of the other makers have this kind of
support. I am MOST encouraged by whats happening at Prophoto.
They have my confidence...

btw, I dont own any prophoto stuff at the moment
but seriously would consider them for the next purchase.

Thanks guys

Many thanks to Luke and Eujin for the informative talk and tips sharing .
Profoto does have so many good points and the speakers spoke so earnestly of them .
The 20% offer for the lightshapers still on till end of this week .
Seng Fai and Phase One Ang Mo also came .
(The one who gave talk on the day before at Phase seminar) .

Shot with Profoto 7b with one large softbox on location.

This is beautiful... what setting are you using on your 7B and what is your softbox size ???

Wow... got so much power to cover such a big area on battery ???

I forgot what setting I used, but I think that I set my cam settings at ISO 100 f/8, 1/125

One Profoto 7b, hooked up to a light stand and one large soft box.

Bros, i am thinking of getting an Acute... is it good?

Definitely good choice. Buy a 1200 if you can't afford the 2400 first.
Ask Denis for a kit. 2 Acute heads & an Acute 1200 and you will be on your way to great lighting.
Buy the Zoom reflector and a silver umbrella - you won't believe how many effects you can get out of this. If you were at the recent talk - you'd have found out that many nice shots can be created just using a zoom head and a silver umbrella.

Also the Acute 1200 (as well as the 2400) has 3 inputs. 1 main and 2 split. You can actually (with one pack & 3 heads) have a key light, accent light and background light.

Best money spent ever.

Got this in my mail from Shriro :-

Profotos 2 week Acute 2 Promotion .

Acute 2 1200 generator now only $ 3,280 with a free Acute /D4 Head .

Acute 2 2400 generator now only $ 4,455 with a free Acute /D4 Head.

Acute 2 2400 generator now only $ 5,900 with 2 free Acute /D4 Heads !

Promotion ends 26th November.

Cheers !
