Buying lenses in Taiwan

Hi,

Will be heading to Taiwan in Dec and was wondering if the prices for lenses are cheaper over there? Anyone has experience buying in Taiwan? Any shops to recommend?

Really appreciate any advice.

I juz came back from taiwan. The lens and body over are not cheap.

Camera and lens are not cheap in Taiwan. If you are really keen in getting lens, I would recommend you try Hong Kong instead.
For accessories such as monopods or tripods, they can be slightly cheaper if there is a promo. You can go to 開封街 (aka Camera Street) where you can find a lot of camera shops.

I got a sb600 and a third party neoprene neck sling during a short trip 2 weeks back. With credit card payment, i was charged around s$367 when the bills is reflected back in SG.
