Already known as a low tax country long ago... Why do you think one of the co-founder of Facebook willingly throw his US citizenship and move here...

Typical click-bait and short-sighted comparison, there is more than just income tax.

I think tax to incentive ratio wise Singapore is not too bad la, somehow must get $ to fund all these things right?

The other countries with lesser taxes are nice too, but they seem to either be not as well connected, require you to be uber rich to enjoy life there, or are located in a region that isn't quite as stable politically (or even economically).

you're forgetting that most countries enjoy subsidies on their petrol, duties, consumables etc....

but where do you think the subsidies come from? clue: government revenues.

and in fact, in those countries the cost savings are enjoyed more by the people who can afford to splurge more (the rich), rather than the poor (who can't afford cars, transport, more consumer goods etc).

That’s the reason why the Oxfam report on inequality ranks us so low - it says we don’t tax the rich enough to give more to our poor.

free! free.... free... free.... free

No money no talk!

I love not to pay tax. free education, free food, free to see doctor, free , free and free.

What a wonderful world!

Remember, you get monkey when you pay peanut

and you will have monkey teacher, monkey minster, monkey policemen and monkeys all around.

So when there is no peanut... can you imagine what will become of you?

Incoming tax rate is very low, while GST, ABSD, COE and other taxes or fee are very high. HDB is very affordable while Condo/landed are very high priced.Camera and lens are cheap, while female models charge too much, seemed one pretty model can earn over 600SGD per 2 hours.
