Was unsuccessful in uploading my Avatar. Already edited the image to 50 x 50 pixels and save as jpeg in the lowest quality and yet kena the message that my image was too large. i think the max size allowed is 15KB?--but how to edit pix to get such a small size?. Also did a search using keywords "avatar" and now think best to ask for help.
HELP!

hard to believe that a 50x50 image saved as jpeg low quality can still exceed 15kb....

actually this is 40 x 40 pixels at 72 dpi and its 51kb already...

hmm i wonder which image editing you're using, on photoshop 100 quality its only 2Kb.

Hi TC,

Nice to see you here.

You can save it in Photoshop using "save for web" then choose the one that gives you 4kb or less.

Your avatar can be even 100x100 as long as it is save to 4kb or less.

Look at my avatar it is quite big.
