Need some help here...do flash bracket really make worthwhile improvement to the image quality? I am thinking of getting a flash bracket (Stroboframe) for my DSLR + flash. Thanks.

brackets in general help to reduce red eye. those that can flip (either flash or camera) help to reduce shadows with the camera in "portrait" orientation.

however, if you just need to shoot in "portrait" orientation, a cheap ~$20 straight bracket will be enough.

besides the bracket, you'll need to get a cable to sync with the camera.

Any idea which bracket can flip the cam instead of the flash?
