Hello, can anyone let me know where I can get the Marumi DHG 200 or equivalent close up lens (filter) locally? Its a +5 achromatic. Many thanks in advance.

Some say marumi is bad and some say it's good.It depends on what camera/lens you use.Seen a review used on a Sigma DP3 although it's sharp but depth of field is shallow.

However you can try Ruby Photo at peninsular shopping center or Cathay Photo at Capitol shopping center
across the street from Ruby. If they don't have Marumi you can try Hoya brand but don't know if Hoya has +5 closeup lens more likely +4. ( Hoya +1 to +4). PS may be Kenko too.

Hi one eye jack, many thanks for the information. I managed to get a Canon 250D from a nice CSer but will check out Ruby and Cathay. I think I will need more close up lens
