5D Mk II or 7D

5D Mk II is an easier upgrade for you, if you didn't want to buy a new lense to cover the ultra-wide angle. Anyway, if 5D worked for you, 5D Mk II would be a good fit. If you find something lacking in 5D, 7D is probably better for you and more of a new toy for you to play

But having a 7D and 5d1 is also nice. YOu get the best of both worlds.

That's what I have, and in terms of focal range, with 2 lenses, I am covered from 17mm - 320mm (35mm equivalent), except for the 65mm - 69mm range.
