Amen to that. I had brought my stuff from CP, MS colors and other shops and when it boils down to customer services, John 3.16 is the best photographic store to patronise in SIN. Prices are reasonable and services come with smiles all round. Thank God for shops like John.

This is interesting. I gather those ants in pic #01 are there to 'collect' the eggs deposited by the Branded Imperial and once collected, they are brought into the nest, tended, care for and protected until they emerged as caterpillars. Whereupon this symbiotic relationship of the ant milking...

Set camera to AV(aperture priority)mode. Go to MENU on camera - Custom Function(C.Fn) Set Flash sync speed in AV mode to 1:1/200sec, 1/250(fixed) depending on the camera you have and viola... there you have it.... subject is lit and you have a dark background.

#01 oops.....paiseh.... forgot to sharpen it. This is the image Ithat was supposed to be posted.:embrass: #02 sharp eyes you have. Unlike your setup of 02 flashes....a reflector was used to bounced some lights onto the right hand side of the dragonfly. #03 selective USM was applied...

Thank you perspectives-act and photgraphique. The Sigma 180mm macro F3.5 was used to capture all the three images.
