Agree with the rest... looks like a CF card issue... Encountered once after an assignment... freak the hell out of me... so I can understand ur frustration... as advised earlier... spread your eggs over a few baskets... work with a few CF cards during assignments...

hey guys...wanna ask you...me lost the ring covering the connectors on my GRD for connecting the adaptor onto the cam...anyone know how to get that ring replaced huh?...called the Svc centre liaoz...say gonna check for me...so meanwhile...wanna ask you guys...*boo hoo*

thnx jaegersing...I currently do not have a DV reader (ie a Vid Cam) to read the DV tapes i have on hand...so asking if anyone know anybody to convert this to say a DVD for me at a reasonable cost of cause...

Sorry David for tagging onto your thread...but..since this question is posted here...I might as well ask here for all that might need such a service...heh... anyone got any service providers to recommend to help convert miniDV tapes to DVDs?...no need to edit...just convert...cos me thinking...

hmm...video mode this cammy also have mah...jus that the resolution not that great...heh...but that said...i took quite a bit of AVIs with this baby during my recent honeymoon trip...not the best quality I must admit...but definitely usable if just for memories...heh...

Yo Witness...donno leh...I velly scared if got too many harddisks...those in storage too long might fail..I mainly store them in DVDs...but really..accessing them is a pain...now into my 30th DVD liaoz...harddisk definitely much easier to search and locate the files...but...reliability...
