Theoretically its not good to mix different batteries because the internal resistances of the batteries are not the same. This will result in poorer performance and higher heat generation. However, I must say this is only theoretical. Practically, I do mix sometimes and don't see any problems...

I think there must be some differentiation between a prosumer model and a professional model. IMO, the manufactuer has to develop its product line to have some form of product differentiation to entice users to progress to purchase a higher end product. So, I suppose it's not they can't do it...

Fuji superia is not bad, but not so good for serious work.

Fret not.... Anyway I believe the only way to get great model shots is to get the model to relax and feel comfortable with you, this way you will probably get shots u never expect to.... Moral of the story... Always get to know the model and talk to em 1st before starting the shoot.... ;)...

IMO, 2nd hand DSLR might not be worth it simply cos electronics degrade with time. God willing, the camera may die on u after buying it for a few months!!!... Will hardly consider a DSLR 2nd hand unless I get maybe say a 3 month warranty from the user or something. Besides, we don't really get...

I have the Sigma 28-200 DL for use with a Minolta 700si. The pictures aren't as sharp when u put it up in 8R size, but generally still acceptable. Of course if you were to compare it to Canon's L or Nikon's G lenses its definitely the loser, but let's compare it to lenses in the same class...
