    Small birding lens - 70-200/2.8 vs 80-400/5.6 vs 300mm/4

stick with your tamron.... it is a good lens already for its reach and price... Nikon coming out with 300mm f4 VR (rumors, but pretty confirmed)...you might want to wait if you are into the 300mmf4.... the one thing you need to consider is the bokeh... longer lenses give you fantastic bokeh (if...

Hi all, am currently considering to get either one of the lens... I guess most owners would definitely have considered the same question... like to hear current users and owners why they prefer one over the other... also, any tamron showroom to test this lens other than at the retail...

    Noise performance: D750 VS D810

The bright flood lights really does help a lot and in such conditions, iso3200 to iso6400 are really very much usable. But in birding, in shaded places, the same ISO will be totally different. Noise will be very much obvious. But birds in flight, will bright blue sky, even if pump ISO also...

    Noise performance: D750 VS D810

for shooting in dark places like forest birds, the noise will just come in all over the places... usually limit myself to iso1600... for indoors, normal lit rooms, iso2000 is no issue...

    Noise performance: D750 VS D810

yes, the shots are not taken in a controlled setting... but after looking through the shots for 2 days, I have come to the unscientific conclusion that: 1. D750 definitely has better high iso than D810 (maybe by about one stop there about only, I doubt it is more than one stop) very visible...

    Noise performance: D750 VS D810

from what I shot at the Nikon showroom, D750 does seem cleaner. but just wondering in real world situations, how much does that translate to in terms of noise performance compared to the D810...

    Noise performance: D750 VS D810

Yah... Have tried friend's d4s... Really like a camera on steroids. . Only few points holding me back: -Loud shutter (not as damped as D810, I believe the new release will feature such damped shuiter) - 3 year old sensor (if counting the d4) -16mp a bit on low side(would prefer 20 or...

Confused between Nikon D750 or D810

Any input on the high iso of both cameras compared to each other in real life shooting? Also deciding whether to get the d750 cause do a lot of low light shooting... And if the d750 really more than one stop improvement, I am game... :)

    Noise performance: D750 VS D810

Did go down on tue to try, but was held up with other things and by the time I reached, only left about 30 min left to take shots using d750, D810 and df... Df looks very impressive... D750 also looks good... Currently using D810, not so happy with high iso,, and if d750 can be one stop...
