Dear Pentaxians,
I am quite in a dilemma right now as to over which lens I should get.
Right now I own a Tammy 28-75, and this lens is mounted most of the time on my K-x. However, I sometimes find that 28mm is rather limiting. So I was thinking of getting a Tamron 17-50. However, I 'happen' to stumbled upon the Sigma 17-70. And for some strange reason (or my luck), it is current being sold at £275 (~S$570) for the OS HSM copy. This makes both lenses relatively equal, in terms of cost.
Yes, I have asked myself should I get a fast lens or a general purpose lens (and maybe stop it down to f4 and pretend that it's a Pentax 17-70/4 ;p). But I can't really make up my mind. So I need your - mature or expert - opinion(s). If you were in my shoe, which lens would you choose? Or perhaps suggest me another lens?
Oh, I generally shoot portraits.
Cheers.
