Any advice what camera bag to buy to hold 2 lens + 1 travel tripod, beside a body?
Preferably Sling type, cause i look like a turtle when carrying a back pack!!
not sure whether any Crumpler can hold...

+ 1 travel tripod will be the problem.

not many shoulder bags have the option of allowing you to pack tripod - my suggestion is to get a tripod bag and a shoulder bag, if you do like shoulder bags more.

shoulder bags tend to have the benefit of being able to switch lens fast. despite all the new fangled hybrid bags.

2 lens + body, depends on what lens, lens got big, got small also.

if it is normal sized lens (like a kit lens size), then anything from a 6 million dollar home upwards will be able to hold your gear comfortably.

Hi, does anyone know will a Think Tank Streetwalker able to fit in D700 with Grip and 80-200mm (f2.8) with one 28-70mm (f2.8) and a flash. I like the slim build of the bag. Tks.

the best way to know is to bring your equipment and try

I'm using Think Tank Urban Disguise 60 and can squeeze my Benro Travel Tripod inside. Note its a somewhat tight fit so if you're gonna take it in and out constantly it might be a problem. There are plenty of pockets and dividers so a DSLR body + 2 lens can fit easily.

Another alternative would be Crumpler Bazillion Dollar Home, but be warned the bag is HUGE and somewhat heavy.

For backpack, Manfrotto just released a new backpack that comes with a dedicated compartment for a tripod. You can check it out at Cathay Photo or TK Photo, I haven't really looked at it though cos I'm very satisfied with my Think Tank.

most sling bags are not meant to accommodate a full length tripod

Nikon 60mm f/2.8D AF Micro

Except for the grip, I ended up with the streetwalker pro for the similar combo.

Agree,

I fitted

7D + 70-200mm
550D + 17-55
10-22
50mm 1.8
5 filters
2 ballhead

i think it should be fine.

Thanks, I think the best way is to bring my gear down and see how it can be configured, otherwise it will be buy and sell again.

guess will have to carry a sling bag with a tripod on hand !!

That's exactly what I do. I use a Lowepro Slingshot 100 AW

Some of the bigger slingbags you can undersling a tripod underneath the bag... is that what you are thinking off? Or you want to dump tripod in bag with camera gear?

Is the National Geographic a good/decent camera bag series; looks good, only need it for a Canon 50D, 1 lens, tripod and some accessories.

Probably something that can sling outside, notice that the crumpler is a bit BIG!!
might get a harness to hook tripod to current bag. Good Idea??

wow, that's at the bottom of the bag?

first time see before

This way of carrying a tripod sucks :thumbsd:

You will get stuck at doors and hit alot of people like this  . best way is to have it vertical at the side of behind of the bag . like
