1st, would lk to thanks Kevin for organising this outing! Realli enjoy it and of cos i do pick up some new knowledage from you ppl!! :)

All pixs posted up here all were taken nicely! Gosh i guess i got to hide mine~ hahahaha!!

You're welcome. I'm glad there was kind of a balance of genders, otherwise too much testosterone la...
Please share your photos too!
Only constructive criticism, not to worry! That's how you learn.

Hi guys :)
Here's mine. Pls feel free to comment.

For the first photo, I think the aspect ratio is a bit off. Looks kind of squeezy. The buildings are taller and thinner than they should be.

#2 and #3 I'm not sure how to comment on the composition, so I'll just keep quiet. Sorry!
#4 is my favourite of the lot!

*NOTE: On all your shots, the horizon is slightly tilted.
I'm not sure if you applied some sort of sharpening (maybe USM) or saturation, but in my opinion it seems slightly overdone. More like oil painting rather than photograph.

Kelvin et al,

It's very difficult to match the standard after all your posts, also to find something different...
I may break the hearts of my 2 masters....Believe me i've tried......
Please feel free to comment....I promise not to kill myself over this.

Thanks for posting!
Impressed by #1. It was pretty dark, and you didn't use flash. Shows the high-ISO power of FX :) aiyoh, now must seriously fight hard to resist the BBB virus!

I really like your wide-angle interior shot. You had the good fortune and timing to capture the setting sun. thumbs up!

The last one of the fountain has a strange colour cast. I think it's too orange. You shot in RAW, am I right? No worries then. You'll have to tweak the White Balance settings in your RAW - JPG conversion.

Kevin,

i think you shall continue ur organising due to so many request from other....
lets build a firing squad team... and i will be the 1st member join you...(who will be the next? Q pls...)

thanks for your comments, kevin.
i feel all of them are kind of dull... and my pp definitely something wrong. I uploaded some without PP and they seem more appealing: "Virgins"
feel free to comment..

Are you worried that people will steal your pictures ?

A few clicks will have your signature done.

Why you do ask this sort of question out of the blue?
Who is the 'you' that you're referring to?
Anyway this thread was for those who attended the shoot to share pictures and offer critique. Since you've done neither...

I had a look through your gallery and I liked the shots there. You have some good ones that weren't included in this thread! :) My fave is #3. Sigh. Should have left office earlier. Never mind. There will be another day.

Some of them still had that unnatural (that's my personal opinion... maybe you prefer it that way) orangey hue to it. For example photos 9,10,11.
I remember seeing that you were taking in RAW. So something must have been applied in the conversion to JPG to cause the colour. Perhaps it was a shady or fluorescent WB?

i liked #3 in that piccasa gallery too.. the reflections from the sun off the buildings made some impact.. :D

we'd love comments. but constructive comments will do just fine.

we have noob pictures, nobody wants to steal them.

marina barrage is free for entry, lest u tell me you either do not know how to go there, or ur simply unable to produce pictures to wow us.

and yea.. have not seen any of ur works before. mind posting them?

hi kevin, thanks for your comment. I will take note of pic 1,2,3.;)

If you meant to write
"Aren't you worried that people will steal your pictures?"

the meaning is TOTALLY different from what you wrote.
Your original sentence seems to carry some sarcasm. Be careful what you write.
