Canon 5Dmark 2 killer pricing $4k for the body.
Canon 1Ds Mark 3 pricing dropping like hell .
Nikon price at est $12 000.00 high la .
1Ds mark 3 already produce dam good file and 5D mark 2 produce as good file as 1Ds Mark 3 could but it is more portable , some more when you need some simple video recording it can do some great job for you .
I just feel that Nikon D3x is just a high mp camera price too high . It lack some important marketing feature which Canon are working on they already confirmed their commitment to a 30+mp DSLR on the Canon 1Ds mark 4 , if it going to replace soon then the war at $12 000.00 is not that simple .

Seriously, I was very tempted to get the 5D MkII till I saw the ISO800.

please make a professional body that's meant for ladies with smaller hands.
i love the feel of d3, but with a 70-200 mounted, i can hardly handhold it for shoots.
if you can come up with a d3 for ladies, it will be perfect.:kiss:

I think the price for Nikon D3x is at that level because of the don't know who provide CMOS ..
When the D3 is here the price very attactive at below $7k on street now some shop at around $5.5k . If someone travel US can get less than $5k very good buy for action photographer photography ..he he he...
If we are really seeing at $12k the diff from D3 is more than half .. spec wise just a clon ..

this is just like the 1dsmk3 - it is not for everyone. but if u want something with the highest res possible, this is the one for nikon users.
now... if only d3 or d700 will drop price now b4 christmas...
