need help on International Academy of Film and Television - Phillipines, cebu

Hi...I'm just new to this site and I really don't know where to post my concern.:angel:
I have plenty of questions that have been piling up in me for some time.
But, for the sake of everyone reading this I will try to keep it short.
Recently, I have been searching for some quality forums with experienced members that are willing to help and I hope I found the right place.
I'm still very young (soon to be 19) and obviously still have to (and want to) learn a lot. So, every advice and random thought will be accepted.

Here's the thing, I really want to pursue photography and filmmaking at the same time. I know that it would cost me too much, so I need to hear your opinion if this academy from Cebu, Philippines is a right place for me to be in. Please try to see this academy International Academy of Film and Television . Hope for your positive thoughts. Thanks

one question... where are you located currently... are you in the Philipines?... sorry if the question sounds stupid, but this forum also has members from Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore, and I guess it will play a part in whether this school is the right choice for you...

The International Academy of Film and Television is part of the Bigfoot Group of Companies, an American organization if I am not mistaken. The school has affiliations with Filmmakers Alliance, Hongkong Film Academy, Fashion TV (for those interested in fashion, I suppose) etc, so quality-wise, the school should be pretty good. I also checked out the list of mentors and they are all qualified (they're mostly foreigners though). www.filmschool.ph

As for the campus...apart form the facilities, my, with the school's proximity to the beaches of Cebu and the surrounding islands (Bohol etc), I'll probably be looking forward to the school breaks all the time. I also checked out the school fees and I think it's pretty reasonable.

If I weren't already taking up a degree, I'd probably have signed up here.

But it's all up to you really. I think it's best if you actually contact the school and ask them to send you a brochure/additional information. I'm sure they'd be willing to do so.
