Nice work from the lads. Defense went to sleep a bit but nice win. Torres's last goal showed what we lacked since owen left. Someone playing right on the opposition backline who can break through and leave them for dead. He was away so quickly and he had such pace that I think he could have had time to have a drink before slotting it in. Kuyt, Crouch and Voronin are just no the kind of players who stretch the opposition's defensive line and they don't have the pace to make the breakthrough like Torres.

Still a lot to do for Rafa but hope he learnt something from the recent matches. Nice to see the reserves showing that they are no slouches. I wish we could have seen Hobbs on earlier and more of the youngsters like Linfield or El-Zhar getting a few minutes though.
