ya, but if you look like a pig, the right person comes in like once in a 1472432 years so yeah my advice is still give the persistent guys a chance.
Wah lao, aren't ANY OF YOU interested in what Jeanie looks like? I mean isn't this the MOST impt question in ALL YOUR MINDS when you are giving advice
So lets be pro-active and start a "Find out what Jeanie looks like" Fund. Everyone interested can trasnfer $1 into my POSB account and at the end of the day, maybe we can buy/steal/rob a picture of Jeanie from someone in CS.
Or maybe considering the number of views in this thread, we can afford to Pay Jeanie for a *gasp* paid shoot
lol, i have a poly fren who we liked to call her jeanie too...
but i dun think you two are the same though she has long hair..
the jeanie at my poly seems more like a photograph-ee than a photogaph-er.. :bsmilie:
what is that new avatar?
i'm really both.
phee and pher.
you have not been surfing CS enough to not have seen that picture
time to work harder
I have to confess that I've done all that with J.
I still go back to my wife. :bsmilie: :sweatsm:

Jeanie,
No offence, but based on what I had 'seen' and 'heard' of you on this forum, I had the impression that you were perfectly capable of handling a situation like this.
As an attractive woman, you are bound to have your share of admirers. Last night I used the word 'pervert' for this guy. Actually, unless he does something obscene, I doubt I can classify him as a pervert. He is just an obsessive guy, totally infatuated with you. At some point, you might have unconsciously encouraged his moves. You might have found it pleasing to have someone worry after you. And this guy obviously got the wrong signals and went the wrong way.
The best way to deal with this is to tell him the truth. Getting another guy to go with you, coming to work early, going late etc. etc. are not gonna work. He will come up with ways to counteract your every move. Sit with him and tell him you DON'T CARE. Tell him if he wants to work with you, he better be professional about it - cut the personal crap. If he wants to break down and cry, so be it. If push comes to shove, threaten him. Tell him you will report to HR and that will be the end of the road for him. If he persists outside work, you can/should go to the police.
After all, you've got to choose what's important to you - your life and your sanity or your career.
There are all kinds of morons in this world, I just hope and wish that you get this guy off your back. Stay safe and take care.
