anyone can explain the commander function of sb800 to me? (layman terms pls)

i dont have dslr, looking to get one...would be useful to know what is this function beforehand.

For me, a straight SB800 buy... Never even thought of SB600. I am happy with it becos it allows me to mount a 5th battery for a faster recycle time ;)

i was trying mount my SB-800 next to my F11 and use wireless SU-4 as trigger.
can't find a cheap bracket to do that yet..
 

Try bamboo poles... cheap and easy to break and tie... :lovegrin:

5th battery plus SD-8A, it fires like machine gun man!
