I don't know why one can not just give to the Red Cross/Red Crescent? there are so many groups being formed by unknown persons, and by known persons........I believe the Red Cross or Red Crescent or Medicins sans Frontiers would be a better way as they have the infrastructure running worldwide.

Also, these groups maybe funneling the funds to the Red Cross/Red Crescent anyway, so just give it to them directly
