As part of everyone's workflow, it is necc to archive those precious photos.

However, out of the camera, some tuning is necc (usu exposure or sharpening). PS7 unfortunately kills off nearly all the important canon exif info when I correct the photos except for some really basic stuff.

Anyone know how can I archive thos modified photos with the exif intact (the full thing as u see in Breezebrowser) ?

hmm.. try duplicating another copy for editing purpose and keep the original "as-shot" as "digital negatives".
yep it will take up disk space but keeping "digital negatives" is very important cause you may want to re-edit the pic again.

cheers! :)

for me, I always keep a copy of the origina. Anyway, I use PS7 to edit my photos and save in jpg format and all the EXIF informaition remains unchange. I am using an Olympus camera...

perhaps something to do with profiles?
not sure, but it's worth a try.

Some exif remains. But most of it is gone. For example, the setting of sharpness/contrast, white balance, flash mode etc.

Only the really basic focal length, apeture and shutter speed remain.

I do a normal save from my JPEG but it always asks me to do a save-as. After I do a save-as and reopen, I can always save. strange.
