Wide Angle Compacts: Canon 860IS vs Panasonic FX100

Hoping some expert to give me some light on these 2 models, which one should I get?

Panasonic photos quite known to have noise... but its 12 Mega Pixel... while the Canon is seems to be slightly larger in size and lower resolution... seems to have pros and cons that i cant decide which one...
