Actually you can just buy the stick from Qishan and do the repair yourself. it is very easy and I have changed my stick at least twice before already.

use 90% force on the stick till it breaks.
actually it's quite delicate.:thumbsd:

Actually, the analog stick is very hard to break. What most often happens is that the internal plastic piece gets misaligned with the metal sliders which control the X and Y axis, leading to a false perception that it is broken. I have repaired a few of these sticks myself by realigning the pieces, but over time it will get permanently bad and you need to get a new one to replace it. It is a design flaw in the PS stick in my opinion.

I've been playing the PSP everyday for about 50 mins per day for the past 3-4 years...so the stick finally breaks :bsmilie:

Break into two pieces?

Lol didn't know Qishan was so famous in the local PSP world. Was my school mate!

If it is not in two pieces, it means that the sliders are merely misaligned in relation to the plastic stick.

It broke at the bottom....I will go to Bedok Central to see if they can fix it on the spot for me...
