  • yep i agree
But lets say u taking some event/performance or sth with people moving around here and there
then have to change lens here and there to get diff focal range. haha
of course 70-200 f2.8 can take low light to a certain level.
but if you consider 50f1.4, 85 f1.8 135f2 (ignore the L prime cause too x) - would this be able to take low light better than 70-200f2.8? 135f2 is consider the top few sharp lens that canon has.
Hmm tks for the advice below.
But the best canon lens for their 70-200mm is the F2.8 so if it cant take low lights then nth else can yea haha. Only thing is the weight. Real headache man!!!!
But i really do love the 70-200mm F2.8 IS cuz of its IS technology and the fact that its weather sealed. makes it real robust man. Can probably withstand extreme temperatures. Say -30C. Lol
I think its a good move to shift on to prime lenses considering the fact that u might be upgrading to FF some time.
I have the 10-22mm. Good lens for landscape pics. But do also keep in mind that if u were to upgrade to FF, you'd have to throw that lens away. Haha
reason for sellling 55-250 was because i am thinking to get 70-200f4is.
are you going to 70-200f2.8is? it is 1.6kg.
it is too heavy for me, i believe that i will not be using it.
so thinking to get 70-200f4L is, which is about 600g. but it can be use for outdoor only
therefore currently, i am putting 70-200f4is on hold.

have got 50f1.4, 85f1.8 together with my current 17-55 f2.8is. thinking whether to get 135f2 (or 35f2) or not.
70-200f2.8L is is not everything, it cannot take low light too. therefore went to get some prime for the low light and good bohek.
maynot get 70-200 f4L is in the end, will also consider 10-22. but one thing. if i ever upgrade to full frame, i have no worry about the prime.

if you are thinking to get 70-200, i suggest you dont get 55-250. there is alot of people selling 55-250, every few days someone is selling it.
although 55-250 is a good lens for that price. but when you want to get 70-200, will you be able to sell your 55-250?
save that 350+ for 55-250 and go straight for 70-200. and also 55-250 is a efs, if you ever upgrade to full frame, that is another consideration.
unless you really need it, i suggest that you buy 2nd hand. (but i dont like the 2nd hand market in CS, the prices is about 10-25% off the market price. I might as well buy brand new with 15 months warranty)
    Hi

Noticed that u sold your EF-S 55-250 IS few months ago
    May i know why?
Currently in a serious dilemma on whether to buy the 55-250 first then upgrade to 70-200 after some time. Or juz go straight to the 70-200.
    Hope u can help. Haha.:)
