what to do with fungus

Hello, newbie here.

Bought second hand lense with some fungus,
is it safe to put it into dry box , together with other clean lenses?

What are the possible ways to clean the fungus, or at least stop them from growing?

What humidity value to set for the electronic dry box?

Hi ,

For fugus lens , it is advised to store them seperately . Coz the fugus will spread even in dry conditions ..

There is no way to stop them from growing Dry conditions only slows down their growth.

To clean these lens , you can bring them either back to the service center or 3rd party lens service centers (a few ard in adephi i think)

For dehumifier settings, set the settings to 40%-50% level. Lower than 40%, your grease and rubber will be dried up. Higher than 50%, you risk the chance of fungus growing. Make sure door is closed properly and the rubber seal is not leaking.
