I only listen to music on my iPod while in transit. When the shoot starts, I keep it away as music would only be distracting.

btw, this post is probably better suited to be in kopitiam section.

Not in ear, but i think some ambience music is good.
Some chillout house/upbeat house is good.
not to hard but not to soft.

My ipod will be on when i leave house, off it when i start shooting, the on again when i finish shooting.
