Looks like china town  Anyhow, I like your dark threatment on the pictures...a bit like the Heroes movie

The first shot is top stuff! The rest are good fun to view.

i like this one... but i'd be too scared to snap... :bsmilie:
Dont be afraid...do it if you think you saw a picture that u want to take.

ppl always tell me that in chinatown...to shoot straight into the face of someone
will invite lots of swearing...but i dont really bother abt that.
He knew i was taking his picts because a big cam was in frt of my face,
and it was very close too. So, no prob lah.

what film and camera combi is this i really like the colors.. or isit due to post processing?
someone asked me the same question too...
it's digital.
combo? frankly, this doesnt matter...but since u want to know it's 30D with 17-40.

for the editting part...
before i started shooting, i've already pre-visualize the outcome of the images.
i underexposed everything (not too much) using high iso, and recover back
highlights during editting and images become contrasty...i did not add any saturation.

i wish one day i see my face in this section. haha.

i like some photos more than the others. some don't left any impact to me.
i personally like 1, 6 , 10 , 11 and 15 :)

hey, u are quick to point out to those that i like in terms of
content and form. Those placed side by side creates the summarized version.
The rest are just fillers, really. They just make the whole thing
have a longer story and creates a bigger picture.

Agree with you. The thoughts of my camera being wring 'round my neck isn't exactly pleasing to think about.:bsmilie:

Nice series Khairi.
You fooled me with the wet china title.

haha...well, it was chinatown in wet condition mah :)

hmm...u pointed out something

that neck strap...in the past, when i street shoot with dslr or slr or manual cam i'll always
have it looping round my right wrist. But, nowadays, i'd leave it at home. It's iritatingly disturbing.
You might end up trying to keep it nicely loop your wrist most of the time. Iritating.
