I think this question might have been asked before, but I can't seem to find the thread that discusses this.

Anyway, with regards to the above topic, the bride's white in white & the groom's black in black. Which would you get your readings from - bride or groom?

If I set it to the bride, the groom would turn out a little on the dark side.
But if I set it to the groom, the bride would get a little too washed out.

I'm not the official photographer, so there's no pressure on me but I'd still like to get a few nice well balanced shots.

face more important.

erm yeah, I did mention that too..... bride's white (ang moh) & groom's black (african american). "Bride white in white, groom black in black"

Well, generally, I'll stick to the bride... They are the ones with Veto power over which shots they choose, (generally that's how I feel :bsmilie: )

Else, after shooting, do a lil PP and select the groom's face, and then lower the brightness and contrast slightly to balance out.
